Planning and organising a wedding is always a great privilege because it allows us wedding planners to accompany a couple on the long journey that will allow them to begin a new phase of life together. Of course, in the months leading up to the wedding there is no shortage of anxious and stressful moments when small unforeseen events occur at the most inopportune moment, but in the end everything is forgotten when the bride and groom and their guests can fully enjoy the fruits of so much organisation and experience a dream day.

An intimate wedding in Tuscany in the heart of the Val d’Orcia

The love story I am going to tell you today stems from the bride and groom’s desire to organise an intimate wedding in one of Tuscany’s most beautiful locations. Villa La Foce is a romantic and evocative location in Val d’Orcia that has a great story to tell. The Villa was built in the late 15th century as a hostel for pilgrims and merchants travelling along this ancient road, and in the early 20th century it became a place full of life and agricultural activities.

The Villa offers a breathtaking vista of one of the most picturesque valleys in southern Tuscany, which has earned the prestigious distinction of being recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its undeniably stunning surroundings make it an ideal setting for hosting truly extraordinary occasions, and none more so than an intimate and romantic wedding in the heart of Tuscany. The sweeping views, rich history, and timeless charm of this location combine to create an unforgettable backdrop for your special day.

The style and details chosen for the ceremony

For this wedding we chose a sophisticated and elegant style, a mood that also inspired and guided us in the search for the dresses and all the decorative details for the ceremony and reception. The colour palette we selected starts with neutral tones of ivory and cream and goes as far as the warm nuances of earth and orange, which gave a glamorous and sophisticated touch to the Italian garden of the Villa.

The ceremony was carefully planned in an intimate and cosy setting, where every detail was meticulously planned to enhance the sculptural beauty and the structure of the venue. This dedication was inspired by the desire to give the bride and groom and their guests unforgettable experiences and picturesque spots to admire and immortalise in memories captured in photographs. Every aspect of the special day is designed to ensure that every moment becomes a work of art to be treasured forever.

Tuscany undoubtedly offers some of the most beautiful panoramas of our peninsula, which lend themselves well as locations for romantic outdoor weddings in summer, but also villas and historic residences perfect for hosting indoor weddings.
